New Leadership for JCC Warriors Basketball: Sean Katzoti Takes on Technical Director Role
JCC Welcomes Sean Katzoti as Technical Director of the
JCC Warriors Basketball Program
Toronto, ON – We are pleased to announce that Sean
Katzoti has been named Technical Director of the JCC Warriors
Basketball Program, bringing extensive competitive basketball experience and a
strategic vision for athlete development to one of the community’s fastest growing
performance pathways.
Katzoti’s lifelong engagement in basketball includes playing
with elite programs such as Bill Crothers Prep, Northern Kings, Ontario
Basketball, and the JCC Maccabi Games. His progression through these respected
systems has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of high performance
play, technical execution, and the evolving landscape of youth basketball.
Over the past decade, Katzoti has coached across multiple
levels of the Warriors program, including rep basketball, house league
divisions, and specialized camps. He led the inaugural JCC Maccabi Fellowship
coaching program, an international initiative that operated in Israel and
Detroit, further establishing his reputation for innovation and leadership
within Jewish sport development.
Katzoti’s influence extends beyond the JCC. He has served as
Head Coach for Westmount Collegiate Institute’s Varsity Basketball team and
will take the international stage this summer as Head Coach for Canada’s U17
Basketball team at the Maccabiah Games. In addition, his certification as a
referee reflects a holistic command of the game and the standards that govern
it.
As Technical Director, Katzoti will oversee player and coach
development, program standards, and competitive frameworks as the Warriors
continue to expand their presence and performance profile. His appointment
reinforces the JCC’s commitment to delivering a basketball program defined by
excellence, accountability, and opportunity for athletes at every stage.
